Title is useless and content is not king now!

As you would have bought this and that book and searched over a
hundred of pages and sites and even the top ranking sites would
have said the same "Keywords found in the TITLE Tag have the
highest ranking value with most all search engines" but now
everything has changed, believe it or not but now the Title has
nothing for ranking your pages.
Now Title is only for viewing your Title of the page in a search
engine. Yet title plays a vital role but remember only for
attracting visitors. So your title should be attractive.
Q. Then what is important? A. Link popularity.
Believe it or not but the most important factor for getting
higher rankings is the "link popularity" you may not believe me
as you would have read on other high ranking websites but this
is the fact. I have done many experiments before writing this
article. Ok if you don't believe me do the following things to
check whether I am right or not and for sure if you do you will
get guaranteed top 10 rankings.
1. Give a most attractive title that fully describes your page.
2. Describe your page in detail in the Description meta tags
(not more than 200 characters).
3. And the most important link popularity search for the
keywords in search engines which you have selected for your page
and go through the top 10 results you get and if you get linked
by those 10 pages then you would definitely you would be in the
top 10 results soon.
4. Or if you are not able to do this get as many links as you
can for your pages at least get 10000 links to get the no. 1
rank or get at least 3000 links to get in the top 20 rank.
Don't you get frustrated when you write content rich and useful
articles which are important but still high rankings are
attained by those jerks who have more sites linking to them and
you even don't get in the top 30 pages of search engine.
Don't you believe me OK! Do the following:-
1. Search for any keyword in a search engine and go through the
results you get.
2. What do you observe? All the sites first tell some exciting
tips and some nice articles. But soon they come to the main
point, this is the main point "Buy this e-book to read more"
this what all say.
3. So, they are not giving "content" they are only selling their
products. Then how are they user friendly.
4. Now, the most important "Then why they are at the top" well
because they more popular links linking them.
5. OK let me be more clear as an example - Visit this site www.thefreesite.
